At Rebelde Surf School, our mission is to go beyond teaching you how to surf and to instill a profound respect and knowledge of the ocean.

Surf lessons & board rentals

Whether it’s your first time on a board or you’ve been surfing for decades, at Rebelde you will develop your skills and expand your knowledge of the ocean and of the sport.

**Board rental is included in the price of all lessons.

  • We offer lessons to all ages and abilities.

    $45 / 1.5 hours of individual instruction.

    $65/ 1 lesson with 1 video analysis

    $210/ Package of 6 lessons with 1 video analysis

    $420/ Package of 12 lessons with 3 video analysis

  • $35/person (up to 3 people) for 1.5 hour group lesson.

  • $250 for 5 days of instruction. Camps are customized for your group and typically include

    • Board rental

    • Trips to local beaches like Playa Hermosa and Remanso

    • Instruction on the sand and in the water

    • Photo and video analysis

    • Education about rip tides and how to read waves

    • Transportation and snacks

    • Activities on the beach in between surf sessions (volleyball, fishing from the rocks, etc.)

  • $10/day; $50/7 days; $250/month.

    For the 7 day rental you don’t need to use the board consecutive days and you can switch out your board whenever you want.

    We have a selection of short, beginner, and long boards for you to choose from. If you’re not sure where to start, we’ll help you select the best board for your level and interest!

Playa Maderas

Playa Maderas, nestled along Nicaragua's southwestern coast, is known for its world-class surfing conditions and natural beauty. With consistent waves, comfortable water temperatures, and lush tropical surroundings, it's a haven for surfers and beach lovers.

The dry season (November to April) and windy season (November-May) is the most popular time for surfers due to minimal rainfall and the offshore winds which create consistent swells and ideal conditions for surfing.

He and his friends did very well, it was really amazing to see all the kids yesterday having fun in the water surfing 🏄🏼‍♀️ 🏄‍♂️ and all the parents cheering on the kids, it was a really special day!
